When musician Jo Cooper moved into her Sydney apartment, she discovered the building had a blanket ban on pets. With a miniature schnauzer named Angus, she faced an impossible choice: give him up or fight to change the rule.
Jo chose to fight all the way to the NSW Court of Appeal. What followed was a long and gruelling five-and-a-half-year legal battle. She won, helping change the law and positively affecting millions of apartment residents and their pets across New South Wales.
